Run by partners Jason and Adam, their first deli opened up overlooking Clapham Common in 2015. They wanted to expand their local
and much loved brand by moving into a listed site on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich. The challenge was to be loyal to the Tart brand, an already successful offer, and retain the essence of the historic interior of the David Greig’s Deli legacy.
Jolly Horn successfully answered the brief by subtly blending the contemporary personality of Tart, with the intelligent use of quality materials, smoked oak, brass and marble. Each element sat sympathetically within the classic Victorian tiled and glass shell.
We wanted to provide a commercially successful offer, designing the layout to flex depending on trading time of morning, noon, & night. Whilst retaining the characteristics nature of a period space. Feature lighting highlights key zones in the customer journey and provides functional lighting in key service areas.
